About Me:: I am a musician, usually called a
singer-songwriter here in America.
I teach ESL for FREE to a select
few students. Some, in return, help
me with my Russian. I am a
Humanities graduate with a BA and
MA in Humanities with a minor in
Russian under the BA program (from
which I graduated in 1977 but
stopped studying in 1974). I began
my Russian studies anew, and
totally on my own using the
materials from Kendall-Hunt
Publishing Co. called "Stage One:
Live from Moscow!", Stage Two:
Welcome Back!" and then I studied
using "Mir Russkikh." Now, I read
daily papers and am honing my
grammatical and speaking skills. I
have a health care worker who takes
care of me (I am ill and
handicapped) who is a native of
Minsk and I now get to speak
Russian 4-5 hours each day!
